We are happy to report that during our 2016-2017 Winter Jam tours, over 7,800 Holt volunteers served nearly 55,000 hours advocating for children! From coast to coast, their efforts contributed to bringing in nearly 6,000 new sponsors for children around the world!

“Thank you for your amazing work — we are so touched and inspired by your heart for children. Your advocacy is vital in ensuring that we meet the needs of vulnerable children all around the world. The future looks brighter because of people like you and we can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together next year! — Alycia Fahr-Zarlons, Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteer Requirements

To register to volunteer at a Holt-sponsored event, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have a valid email address
  • Accept the terms of Holt’s Volunteer Work Agreement

Required training after registration includes:

Exceptions

  • Adoptive Parent Volunteers With Children Under 16: We are seeking the support of adoptive families to work tables at the events this year! Holt allows each adoptive parent volunteer to bring up to two of their own minor children as guests to accompany. Children under 16 are not permitted to manage the payment information on our sign-up forms so we ask for your help with this compliance. When registering, there is a place on the form to indicate that you would like to bring your children when you volunteer.
  • Paid Access Through the Volunteer Entrance for Non-Volunteers: Some volunteer groups bring members of their party who are not eligible to volunteer (i.e. underage). You can request venue access for your underage group members by contacting the volunteer coordinator directly for approval. All non-volunteers are required to pay the $15 fee in cash at the door to Dan Lindsay, Holt on-site tour representative. All funds collected are provided to Winter Jam.

Register a Group of Volunteers

A registered volunteer may add additional “guest volunteers” as part of a group during registration. These volunteers must also adhere to the above volunteer requirements.

  • Please do not add guests who have already registered themselves.
  • It is not required to include the names of all guest volunteers.
  • You may bring as many committed guest volunteers as we have space for! You are now able to edit the number of guests in your registration through our volunteer online community.
